Marianne Williamson Quotes Can Inspire You To Reach Your Potential
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
Marianne Williamson
Alright, the time has come and it is now in this present moment for you to be the the glorious perfect being that you are. Dare to stand out and stand up and live the life you deserve. Allow your inner light to burst forth. Show the world your magnificent beauty. Nothing is impossible, nothing is too grand, nothing is unreachable.
Just think about how different life would be if each one of us decided to use Marianne Williamson’s advice attained our God given potential. What would that mean for you personally? What would it mean for the world? Inspiring? You bet! Stop for a moment and try to picture that in your mind.
Let’s set an intention for today that we will allow the light locked inside our being to come forth and shine with undeniable luminosity. Let’s set an intention to release our fear of being powerful and embrace our potentiality. Let’s be an example for others so that they may be inspired to do the same.

Using Inspirational Quotes As A Springboard To Journaling
I love reading inspirational quotes because the one or two sentences seem to hold a power that seems to expand my heart and bring awareness to me. It’s like God is talking through those individuals and giving me a personal message.
Do you ever find that just when you need it, inspirational quotes pop up in your world? You run across them in a magazine or newspaper, or a television personality speaks them on the morning news. This happens to me quite often, and because I believe that Spirit communicates in many ways and through the Law of Attraction I am bringing the message to me, I listen deeply and often use the quote as a catalyst for journal writing.
Here is one of Thich Nhat Hanh quotes that spoke to me today:
“Our own life has to be our message.”
— Thich Nhat Hanh (The World We Have: A Buddhist Approach to Peace and Ecology)
I reread these eight words many times thinking about what this means for me in my life right now….and here’s what I came up with in my writing journal.
The time has come for me to live each moment, live each breath, in a way that honors who I am. I am not content to pretend so others are more comfortable. I am not willing to set aside my heart’s desires until my early morning meditation. No matter how I appear to the outside world, I must live my life from my place of knowing. Then and only then can my life be my message to the world. If I am not living authentically each moment, what I have to share with others will be veiled. When I stand in my knowing, others will see to the very heart of my soul and my gifts will shine.
If you’re looking for a way to spice up your journal writing, try finding inspirational quotes that are speaking to you and see what insights come. You’ll be amazed at what surfaces!

Simple Christmas Angels Make Personal and Inspirational Gifts
After meeting my Target Angel, read my post on our Law of Attraction blog, I was inspired to make a visual journal called Christmas Angels. This is the result of that chance meeting with an angel. If you’d like to replicate this idea, all you need to do is find a printable angel or other image you’d like. Clip and cut out tiny images or pieces of images that are calling to you and glue them together on the angel image. Then paint your canvas any color you’d like and attach the visual journal angel. Paint again over the top of the angel with a light color paint and a mixture of glue to seal the image in place. Enjoy your inspired masterpiece.
These also make unique Christmas presents that will be personal and inspirational gifts your family and friends will love. Attach a satin ribbon to hang and voila!
Happy creating!

Expect Miracles!
The greatest miracle is the opening of the human heart to the generosity of God.
Father Keating
I love hearning stories of miraculous events that have occurred around the world such as Mother Mary protecting the town in Bosnia, Medugorie. It was spared harm during the civil war even though it was three short miles from the front lines. At one point, bombs were even dropped on Medugorie; however, miraculously they never detonated. Images of Mother Mary have been witnessed in the town since 1981 until presently. Today one can visit Medugorie to witness the miracle firsthand.
When I heard this story, I had the same feeling of wonder I had as a child waking up on Christmas morning to find presents left from Santa under the
tree. Miracles strengthen my belief in possibility. That is why Seeds of Intentions has selected miracles as the focus of December. For some reason, the world is a little more accepting of miracles this time of the year.
My husband and I recently experienced a miracle of our own. Last month, we had some financial blockages and were needing the flow of money to once again release. My husband went to pick up the mail one day and unexpectedly, within the pile of mail, was a check for $800. Neither of us recognized the sender nor the company that printed the check. Initially , because a temporary lack of faith, we both thought the check had to be a scam. Curiousity got the best of us though, and we took the check to the bank. Low and behold, the check was legitimate. As we left the bank, the two of us marveled at our miraculous blessing.
With so many people these days, driven by the media, I have observed a sense of hopelessness. It seems to me that strength has wavered. But I am here to tell you that today more than ever, we must hold onto our knowing, our belief in the improbable, and our soft spot in the center of our being.
We must expect miracles. They are not only possible, they are essential. God’s work, when accepted, will surpass our limited human constructs every time…just look at what God accomplished with Jesus.
So, please open your heart to the wonderment that life has to offer. Look for signs that you are not alone. Expect miracles around the next corner…or in your mailbox.
At Seeds of Intentions, you are our miracles. You support our vision to inspire others and to live in authenticity for the good of all. We never take for granted the gifts that we receive. Thank you from the deepest part of our hearts. May your December and the coming year be flooded with miracles.

After The Turkey Is Gone and The Football Is Over An Attitude of Gratitude Can Remain
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It’s simple, it’s delicious, and it’s intentions are for us to be in a state of gratitude throughout the day. Maybe you could use this Thanksgiving as the catalyst for being reminded each and every day about the things that you’re grateful for.
Me? I’m grateful for the fire my husband had going when I came home last night. Our home oozed of comfortable ease and soft glowing embers. I’m thankful for my father’s silly voice mail where he pretended to be Charles Lindbergh in a high pitched voice that reminded me more of Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie. I’m thankful for the fox that decided to cross my path on a clear night and then made eye contact with me for a few sacred seconds. I’m thankful for my dreams that bring me messages about life and how to live it.
One way to be in an attitude of gratitude more consistently, and not only one day a year, is to keep a gratitude journal. It’s a way to focus on all of the wonderful blessings that life has bestowed upon you. Even on our most challenging days, we can find those bright moments how ever fleeting they may seem.
Here are a few simple ideas for a gratitude journal:
1. Create a collage of photographs of all of the people in your life you’re grateful for. Take a photograph of your collage and send each person in the collage a quick email with the image attached telling them why they made it onto your gratitude collage. They will love receiving that special email.
2. Write a quick Haiku poem of gratitude for the day. In a Haiku, there are three lines. The first line and last line are five syllables in length and the middle line is seven syllables. The process of Haiku writing is much more complex than this, but I wanted to share a simple way to write them. Here’s an example of one of mine:
My Mother
flower of beauty
my soul’s musical heart song
life’s gift of safety
3. One last gratitude journal idea is to think of one idea that you are thankful for, and then write only verbal phrases to describe the idea. This type of writing can bring a clear visual image back into your mind and help you focus on the idea of gratitude and not on the other things about your day that you’d like to forget. For instance, here is what I wrote about the fox I saw the other night:
Mr. Fox
crossing the asphalt path, moving cautiously, stopping for headlights, freezing so not to be seen, darting away and over the hillside, searching for a next meal
Gifts of gratitude are always appreciated. We, at Seeds of Intentions, have a wonderful selection of gifts of thanksgiving. I’ve included a few in this post as well as in the video below. Be thankful and know that you are blessed.

Manifest Your Intentions With the Support of Our Thoughtful Gifts
What are intentions?
Intentions are desires that are created from a deep consciousness…a place inside of yourself that is your true essence. In the past, I was a goal setter which left the results of the goals and whether I achieved them or not up to me individually. I was on my own.
Setting intentions is different. It evokes the power of self in partnership with the universe. Intentions ignite limitless power that is available to you to create and manifest your deepest desires.
Steps to setting intentions:
1. Sit quietly and center yourself. This could be in the form of meditation, prayer, or just finding a space to be alone. Let yourself feel your way into your desires.
2. Write down those desires using the beginning statement: I intend to …
For instance, one of my intentions is “I intend to create a successful business that gives people tools to expand their consciousness, drop limited patterns, and heal themselves.”
3. After you’ve written your intentions, write down the reason for your intention. What is the purpose?
My reason for my intention about my business is “to live my physical, spiritual and emotional life wholistically. I want each moment of my day to be authentic and a reflection of who I am.”
4. Now, think about how the world will be a better place once your intentions have manifested.
After my intentions have manifested, the planet will be more conscious. Fear, hatred and depression will be replaced by peace, love and joy.
5. Finally, picture your intentions as if they have fully manifested. Get a clear picture of what you see, how you feel, who you meet, etc…
6. Let the miracles in and believe in your intentions.

Let Out the Old and Let In The New: Journal Writing Ideas for Releasing
Here’s quick writing journal ideas for letting out the old and letting in the new. You’ll need two pieces of paper. Two different colors are preferable. On one of the pieces of paper make a list of all of the negative blocks you have in your life that you would like to release. On the other remaining paper, write down those positive experiences you intend to create and be specific. The clearer your intentions the easier they are to manifest.
Now, create a sacred space for you to release and let in. You may want to light a luxury candle, put on beautiful healing music, burn incense, and/or say a prayer. Hold the first piece of paper in your hand. Send the energy of gratitude to the experiences you’re releasing. Those negative blocks had lessons that were embedded in them and deserve acknowledgment. Then in a fireplace or other safe space, light the “releasing paper” and send it back into the universe with love.
Finally, take the piece paper you wrote your intentions on. Place it in a prominent place within your home or office. It should be in a space that you can readily see and access. Each day reread what you wrote and be reminded of those experiences you intend to bring into your life.
Happy releasing and joyous creating!

Beautiful Writing Journals Inspire Beautiful Writing
If you love to write like I love to write, one of your favorite moments might be when you’ve just finished a writing journal, and you get to pick out your next one. I tend to make decisions hastily sometimes, but not when it comes to selecting new writing journals.
My criteria is non-negotiable. First, my journal writing notebooks have to be the right size. I think I’ve got a Goldilocks complex. They can’t be too small because my penmanship is quite large. They can’t be too big because they won’t fit in my hands comfortably when I write in my favorite over-stuffed chair.
Secondly, writing journals have to have lines. Eighteen years as a school teacher modeling how to write on the lines is an old habit to break. Some people like the freedom of no lines, the rebel inside of them feels justified. Me? Give me lines any day!
The last criteria for new writing journals has to be the extrinsic beauty of them. I love to be inspired by the cover. The more girly the journal writing notebooks, the better. If writing journals have texture or sparkly additions, I am instantly mesmorized like a child to Christmas lights.
If it’s time for you to get new journal writing notebooks, please take a look at our great selection on our website. There are writing journals to inspire everyone. Don’t skimp on one of the most powerful tools for insight. Happy shopping! (If I was picking, the Butterfly journal would be my pick! Don’t tell anyone.)

Keeping Dream Journals Leads to Illumination
Messages and spiritual illuminations come in many guises and from many directions. It’s up to each one of us to pay attention to the daily gifts the universe sends. For some, insight arrives in dreams. I know for myself that I am blessed with vivid dreams often and am able to be in a lucid state during some of them. A lucid dream is one in which the dreamer is aware that she is dreaming and can be a by-stander or even control aspects of the dream.
A spiritual teacher of mine, Stephanie Stanfield, once explained that the universe is pleased when we acknowledge our dreams. It’s a message to God, our angels, and our guides that we hear what they are saying.
Keeping dream journals is one way to honor the universe. To get started, you just need to decide how you are going to utilize the dream journals. Some people choose to set an intention before they go to sleep in order to remember their dream. An intention might be, “Tonight, I will dream and when I wake up, I will recall the details of my dreams.”
Another way to keep a dream journal is to journal before falling asleep. Write down in your journal questions about any areas in your life that you would like some clarity. Upon rising, write down your dream and see if there are any connections between your dream and the questions. You might recall an image that connects to your question or maybe you might see repeating phrases that resonate with you.
Creating visual journals of a dream is my own preferred way to gain insight from my dreams. After awaking from sleep, I look through magazines and find words or phrases that capture the essence of my dream. Then I write about the visual journal I created. This particular method of keeping a dream journal seems to hold or solidify my dreams longer.
No matter which technique you use, keeping a record of your dreams will help illuminate new understandings. Honor the messages your receive, and you’ll be surprised how often the universe responds. Before long, your nights will be filled with amazing dreams that will inspire you. You’ll be that person that walks around each day saying, “You’ll never believe the dream I had last night!”
Michael Franti sings, “Don’t fear the nighttime, because the monsters know you’re divine.”
You are divine. Embrace the night and be awed by the illuminations that shine in the darkness.

Five Important Reasons to Give Thanks
This video is an affirmation to the good that is out there seeking to exist.
Today focus on giving thanks and here’s five reason’s why:
- When you give gratitude, your focus becomes expansive instead of resistive. You are able to see that joy exists moment by moment even in chaos.
- Gratitude allows you to stay in the present. When you are in the present moment, you are fully living and not just existing.
- Your gratitude is felt vibrationally like a sonic wave. It reaches further than you can comprehend.
- A state of gratitude heals yourself and simultaneously heals others.
- Saying “thank you”, puts your body into the parasympathetic nervous system which calms and restores the physical body.
At Seeds of Intentions, we realize that gratitude has many blessings. Therefore, we offer several inspirational gift ideas to give to someone to whom you’re grateful. Click here to see some ideas.
